He Wei, born in 1987 in Anhui Province, China, is an accomplished artist known for his bold, thought-provoking work that blends minimalism with psychological depth. After graduating from Anhui University in 2005, he studied at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts and later earned a degree from the prestigious Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in 2012. His art often explores themes of human emotion, existentialism, and abstraction, combining calculated precision with raw, instinctive elements. He Wei has exhibited internationally, with notable shows such as Lost into a Nurse’s Dream (2017) at Primo Marella Gallery and winning the Laguna Prize at Venice Arsenal in 2014. He lives and works between China and Italy
